A Beaumont (they/them) is a queer, trans, fat and disabled white settler creating on unceded Wolastoqiyik and Mi'kmaq territory in Ekpahak. Their multi-disciplinary body of work involves themes of queer and trans identity, disability, grief, religion and family. Their work has been published in print and digitally in Qwerty, Our Fantasties: An Anthology of Daydreams, From the QILTBAG+, I Don’t Do Comics, CV2, Speak Out: NB Disability Art Collective Poetry Collection, Salty, Far Too Fat, The Fat Zine, Flake, Transcare+, and CreatedHere. In addition to art creation, they are training to be an art therapist and they are a community organizer with QT Fatties in NB and Demand the Stars Collective.
